It's sad that people can get too wrapped up with themselves or other none useful things and forget what's really important like their spouse or marriage. I totally think taking care of yourself is a very important thing but letting it become who you are is just plain sad. I think you have done a great job with getting your body in shape and to a point that it is functioning like it is supposed to. I think it's a good thing that you are able to see first hand what happens to someone who lets weight and their body become too much of a priority so that you can make sure you don't make the same mistake.Tracihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13937859337694908067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7794524267188153785.post-24860795553354919462008-09-03T16:55:00.000-07:002008-09-03T16:55:00.000-07:00I meant "see people in better shape THAN myself".I meant "see people in better shape THAN myself".S. I also try to keep that to a minimum but perhaps it is slightly healthy to assess others and make personal goals from that. I see people in better shape as myself and consider it motivation and sometimes, I see people who are not quite as in-shape (or, dare I say healthy) that are still very happy with themselves and it reminds me to be easier on myself. I think if you critique in a non-judgmental way it can be okay.

You look fabulous and I have to say, I think you look thinner in your more recent photo. Keep up the good work (but not in a body-builder kind of way *wink*)

:o)S. (AND, I couldn't be happier about it!)

Really, anyone's journey to getting back into "shape" can mean a lot more than just pounds in the side bar. It takes a lot to be "healthy" and "in shape" - mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, nutritionally, etc.

At least for me, after having a baby, getting back into shape has become a journey of self, not scale, as I grow and mature as a person, a wife, a mother, a friend. Dropping lbs is just an added benefit.Terrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16203599979794554386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7794524267188153785.post-22383791282110894042008-09-02T10:41:00.000-07:002008-09-02T10:41:00.000-07:00First of all I think you look great! It may be hard to be happy with your body but you look great!Shauna@shwinandshwinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08434702726297791009noreply@blogger.com
