You wanted to see the belly

Viewer discretion is advised...

You wanted to see the belly after my water was broken. Unfortunately it wasn't as cool as when they did it with Logan. But it did do a weird shape you can see in the 1st picture. Turns out that bump was just a pocket of fluid. And I'm proud of Ethan for taking a picture of me cutting the cord. Since my mom did it last time and Ethan wouldn't go near it, I thought I would do it. I didn't get a mirror this time like I wanted, but I feel like I was way more alert so I knew what was going on and I asked my doctor to show me the placenta afterwards. He gave me a crash course in what everything was on it. Pretty cool. I like that stuff. I've only lost 12 lbs so far, but there's plenty more to go.

Cool picture! I'm sure it was really interesting for you to be more alert and know what was really going on.

So what's the story with Ethan not being around? I must have missed that with Logan. Does he just get grossed out? Doug was pretty fascinated with everything.

Awesome. Devin is always all but jumping up and down to be involved so I never even thought of cutting myself. Maybe next time. Your tummy does take on an odd shape after the water breaks - pretty cool. Also, those are some skinny pregnant-lady legs. Mine are practically the size of tree trunks by the time I'm delivering from all the swelling. LOL

Way cool pics. I love all that type of stuff too. Can't say I cut my own cord but that's cool. Darren was freaking out cutting it with Allison because it was wrapped so tight around her neck that he had to cut it before I could deliver her the rest of the way and he said he was so scared he was going to cut her neck. Glad to hear that Ethan was able to be a little more involved in this delivery by at least taking some pictures
