30 Weeks

It was a no-go on the glucose test today.
Turns out the lab didn't take my insurance and I wouldn't be able to get to the other lab in time (since they have to take your blood exactly 1 hour after you drink the stuff).

So I drink the stuff again on Monday...

In 2 weeks I have a 3-D ultrasound! Yippee!

And I have contemplated posting this since I think on this 3rd child my stomach looks horrific, but I haven't been embarrassed before, why start now? Right?

Plus the light I have does NOT flatter me in anyway.

So this baby has been moving right along my skin and I see and feel everything. I got it on video this time.

What to look for:

-You'll see some movement to the right of my "belly button".
-Then she will poke my belly button out and slide her foot towards the left. (Toes leading).

Can you see her foot? I could.

That is kinda freeky, but so cool that you caught it on camera. You are one brave lady!

Wow, that's amazing you can totally see her foot! I can't believe what happened with the glucose test! It just wasn't our day....

That was cool. I think that's my favorite part about being pregnant, seeing and feeling the baby move. PS, it's comforting to know that someone else's tummy looks like mine. I'm nice and stretched out. Those tiger claws are worth every inch, right? :)

I love the video. When I was pregnant with Emmie my placenta was posterior so I was able to see every little limb and see her flipping all around the front of my tummy, it was awesome. But with both Allison and Eliza my placenta was anterior (in the front) so it put too much cushion there so I couldn't feel them as much. That sucks about having to drink the glucose drink twice, yuck

Kieran walked in while I was laughing at the video that is all too familiar. So he watched the whole thing over my shoulder. I have to quote him now because his reaction was so funny!

Kieran:"HOLY CRAP!!! THAT IS SO FREAKY & COOL!! WOW MOM LOOK WOW OHMYGOSH!!! WOW!!!"

ROFLOL I just had to share my 10 yr old's point of view. ;>

Holy canoli! That is awesome! Your poor tummy must be stretched so thin! I can't believe you can see such detail. I always saw the movement on my belly, but never such distinct shape! Must be the fact that I have a layer of blubber between baby and my skin that you don't!
