I submitted my entry for the Shed 5 Fast!

Ok, my entry is in, we'll see what happens.

In the meantime, here are some of the pictures I submitted for it.

I tried doing a pull up the other day, but couldn't. There is another goal I need to hit.

So did anyone else try out the contest or was I alone?
I DID challenge all of you...

Hi, I am following Lindsay's blog and came across yours. I have a question: Did you do just the Shed 5 Fast or incorporate other exercise/DVDs as well? You look great! I find that I am not losing weight working out like crazy (with all of Lindsay's videos) but then I am breastfeeding so wondering if that is the cause. What do you think? Are you breastfeeding as well?

Anonymous,
Well I am just going to respond to your question here since I don't have any way of contacting you.
I did 3 days a week the Shed 5 Fast and 1 day a week a yoga class for 6 weeks. That's it. Since then I have been doing her Postnatal Bootcamp DVD.
I am also nursing and have noticed the weight isn't coming off as fast as my other kids have so maybe it's just because I'm getting older.
Is this your first kid or do you have more?
I have also tried to incorporate more water into my diet. I hate water so this is a struggle for me, but I know it helps so I do it.

Thanks, I don't know how to put my email in there, that's why I am under as 'anonymous'. Yes, first baby - it's hard. Baby is 6 months old, I am working out all the time (well until last week I was since Jan 3) and watching what I eat (which I never did do) and am not losing a pound! Maybe I am working out too much/eating too little? Which seems weird. You had great results, I hope you win :) I never entered the contest but I don't think just Shed 5 Fast would've been enough (I usually do Shed 5 Fast 2nd workout, PNBC (with 3 intervals), Core metabolic jumpstart, BC2, and elliptical throughout the week). Maybe when the breastfeeding stops, the rest will come off (about 10 more lbs). Thanks!

Did you notice your body getting shaped up though? Because even though I felt I wasn't losing the weight like I wanted to, I was still gaining muscle and getting stronger. If you do all those workouts then you have to be in great shape! (Even if the weight is still there).

Yes, I do think that I am shaping up. Unfortunately I didn't do any measurements before I started but my clothes are fitting better. I just go by the scale though (even though I know that measurements are important). I really think the breastfeeding is slowing things down. I'm not sure how much longer I will be breastfeeding anyway as it's been 6 months already. Thanks for the encouragement. My measurements though are where Lindsay's are now and she's 4 weeks postpartum and I'm 6 months. Ah well!

You look great! I also found your blog through Lindsay Brin's and I have to tell you, you have been very encouraging! Random qusetion: are you wearing a swimming suit? I absolutely love it! If so, can you let me know where you got it? Cute suits are hard to some by. Thanks!

To Lindsay who left me a comment:

Yes this is a swimsuit, took me forever to find a cute one. I got the bottoms from Kohls and the top is from Mod Be Swim, but I wonder if they went out of business because I can't find them online anymore. Here are some other sites I think have cute ones:

Hope that helps, thanks for the kind words!
